Quilt!!!

AWARD WINNERS FROM 4 July 09 MEET WITH PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNCIL

On July 7th, Mitch and the Spirit Committee of Maddie, Sydney, and Jazmin presented gifts for the following award winners:
GO BLUE (Triple Blue Ribbon Winners): Christine Wesley won 3 blues!!
Q DAWG (Quentin Isom-Sportsmanship): Maddie Ford and David Abercromby
SPIRIT: Jazmin Clarke and Brandon Grant
SPIDERMAN (Hero for Everyone): Caitlin Ford and Kevin McNamara
LEADERSHIP: Sydney Isom and Chris Hogue were both commended for their leadership...cool!

Travis announced the Blue Wave High Point Leaders as of 4 Jul 09:
8 and under Boys Diego Lopez (Alex Powell is just 4 points behind)
8 and under Girls Traleia McCorkle (Jordan Day is just 3 points behind)
9 and 10 Boys Jeremy Carrington (David Woodward is just 4 points behind)
9 and 10 Girls Sydney Isom
11 and 12 Boys Jared Dyer (Trevon Westergard is just 6 points behind)
11 and 12 Girls Christine Wesley (Christine was a triple winner which put her in the lead, 9 points ahead of Maia and Mariah)
13 and 14 Boys Bryce Carrington (Terrence Westergard just 1 point back, Brandon Grant just 4 points back)
13 and 14 Girls Breaunna Bryant and Jana Woodward are TIED at 24 points each.

AWARDS!
The first awards ceremony for 2009 (held June 23rd) was a total success! These ribbons and awards will be presented Tuesdays between 7:15 - 7:45 p.m. in the back pavilion. Congratulations to all of the team for their ribbons and awards! Also, reminder to check http://www.princemont.org for the final results for your swimmer.

Our new Spirit Committee presented the follow awards: SPIDERMAN AWARD: Jazmin Clark presented the Spidey (Spiderman) Award for those who are Heroes and help others to Maia Ennis and Jovan Banks SPIRIT AWARD: Maddie Ford presented the Spirit Award to Mariah Briley and Zach Brockman Q-DAWG AWARD: Sydney Isom presented the Q-Dawg award in honored memory of her father, Quentin Isom, for exemplary Sportsmanship to Jabryl Tolson and Brandon Grant LEADERSHIP: Mitch presented the Leadership Award to Kevin McNamara for his quiet, but strong dedication to the team! He is a Rock Star! Bruce Burget presented a new award for all Meet High Point Winners by age category. Bruce will review the scores each week to see who was the high point leader for the meet by age group / boy and girl and award each child a tag that they can wear proudly!
