Brandywine Blue Wave Swim Team of Upper Marlboro, Maryland was established in 2001 and has been going strong ever since. The Blue Wave team goal is to provide a great opportunity for our community youth to excel both as individuals and as a team. The team allows boys and girls to develop physical fitness, sportsmanship, commitment, self-esteem, and respect for peers and adults. The community youth are participating in a healthy, safe, and fun swim program and making new friends.

All active members of the Blue Wave must be under the age 18 and able to swim 25 meters without the aid of a flotation device. We also have a very active PeeWee team for those younger ones preparing for the swim team.

The Blue Wave team is a member of the Prince-Mont Swim League (PMSL). Visit their web site at http://www.princemont.org for current league information.

CURRENT COSTS:

SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION:

$60 for first child,
$50 for second child
$40 for each additional child

POOL MEMBERSHIP:
Membership to the BSTA Pool is required for participation on the Blue Wave swim team. (BSTA Residents only: Membership fees are included in your monthly homeowners' assessment).

$350 for family
$250 for couples
$150 for single
$125 for silver single
$200 for silver couple

$50 for swim team only access

Team swim suits will be available for fitting and ordering the first two weeks of practice. Team suits are encouraged, but are not required.
